Fish guide
Every fish in the tank
There are six kinds of Sacabambaspis in Jawless Fishtank. They all have the same surprised face. What changes is the color, the price, and how bad you feel when you forget to feed one.
-
Sacabambaspis
300 coins
The classic white and grey. About 25 cm of pure surprise. This is the one you start with and the one most people get attached to first.
-
Mossy
1,500 coins
A mossy green Sacabambaspis that likes hanging around the bottom of the tank. Blends in with the seaweed if you have any.
-
Autumn
1,500 coins
Yellow like falling leaves. Added in the Autumn Update, and probably the cosiest fish in the store.
-
Lover
1,500 coins
A pink Sacabambaspis that has very clearly fallen in love with someone. Could be you. Could be the fossil.
-
Bluebaspis
1,500 coins
A blue take on the prehistoric jawless fish. Same face, same energy, much bluer.
-
Color Changer
4,000 coins
The expensive one. Its color is a mix of whatever it ate last, so a run of grapes turns it green and a run of cherries turns it red.
How fast do they grow?
Every fish goes through the same four life stages, and the clock is real time. It keeps ticking while the game is closed.
| Stage | Age | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Baby | 0 to 24 hours | Small, fragile, and hungry. Lowest health of any stage. |
| Teen | 24 to 48 hours | Twice the health of a baby, same appetite. |
| Adult | 48 to 72 hours | Fully grown. A good time to sell, if you are the selling type. |
| Old | 72 hours and up | The toughest stage. Keep one going this long and you have earned it. |
Older fish have more health, so they can go a bit longer between meals. A baby left alone overnight is the one most likely to be in trouble when you get back. Hungry for the details? The how to play guide covers feeding, selling and reviving.
