The short version: our games do not collect anything. No accounts, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no tracking of any kind. This website uses Google Analytics so we can see how many people visit and which pages they read. That is the only data collection anywhere in FiveFour Games.

This policy covers the website at jawlessfishtank.com, the website at fivefour.games, and all games published by FiveFour Games, including Bombseeker and Jawless Fishtank, on every platform they are released on: PC (Steam), Android (Google Play), and iOS (App Store).

This website

jawlessfishtank.com is a static site. There is no database, no comment system, no contact form, no login, and no server-side code processing anything you do.

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies in your browser and records things like the pages you view, how long you stay, the kind of device and browser you are on, roughly where in the world you are (worked out from your IP address), and which site sent you here. We only ever look at that as totals and trends. We do not use it to identify you, we do not run ads, and we do not sell or share it with anyone. Google processes it under its own privacy policy, linked below.

If you would rather not be counted, you can block cookies for this site, use a content blocker, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works exactly the same either way.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which may include IP addresses and browser user-agent strings, for the purpose of serving the site and protecting it from abuse. We do not use those logs to build any profile of you.

Fonts are served from this site directly rather than from a third-party font service, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you were here.

All gameplay data (progress, in-game currency, saves, settings) is stored locally on your device. We have no access to it and it is never sent to us.

Third-party platforms

Our games do not include any third-party service that collects data: no social media SDKs, no ad networks, no analytics tools. The only third-party service on this website is Google Analytics, described above.

The stores you buy or download our games from, Valve (Steam), Google (Google Play), and Apple (App Store), collect their own data under their own policies. We do not control that and we do not receive any of it.

Children's privacy

Our games are intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and our games do not collect personal information from anyone. If you believe we have somehow received such information, contact us and we will delete it immediately.

Your rights

Our games hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing there to access, correct, export, or erase. The analytics data from this website is held by Google and we have no way of picking you out of it, but if you have a question or a request about it, email us and we will do what we can.

Changes to this policy

If this ever changes, for example if a future game needs online features, we will update this page and change the date at the top before that game ships.
